She has also been an SLP in the public schools, and concurrently maintained a private practice. Ms. Boshart is the author of numerous publications, including "Articulation Remediation Systems" "Treatise on the Tongue", Oral-Facial Illustrations and Reference Guide", "The Pacifier", and many other booklets and training guides."

    Analysis of Oral Capability: 'Beyond and Beneath the Sound of Sound'

    Progressive Therapy - 'PRE' Physiological Readiness Exercises - 'The Oral-Motor Matrix' (TOMM) Specific Sequences for:
    • Habituating oral-facial resting postures

    • Balancing oral tactile sensory acuity/perception and heightening proprioception

    Objectives of the conference:
    • Assess oral capability and establish objectives.
    • Select and do at least 50 oral sensory-motor tasks and adapt them accordingly to the child's capability.
    • Systematically sequence the tasks to maximize capability development
    • Facilitate jaw, lips and tongue muscle tone, stabilization, movement differentiation and refinement."
