How do you say "Ribbit" in Spanish? This huggable frog is one great learning tool, teaching toddlers and preschoolers the alphabet, phonics, numbers, colors, reasoning, and manners--all in Spanish. When kids press the letters on his shirt or the numbers on his webbed fingers, he says the selection aloud. Little ones can also play in search mode to learn letter and number names and sounds. Yet another activity lets kids experiment with letter and number sequence. They'll enjoy playing games like "Hide and Seek," "Say Please," "Name Game," and singing the alphabet and a counting song. Although this little guy is far from wearing on the eardrums, the auto shutoff is a wonderful feature that allows kids to take their smart friend with them into dreamland (and ensures longer battery life). This is great for the imagination of young children. They can write the story and then sit down and read it to you. It stimulates their brains, gets them away from the TV too. I bought several for my grandchildren for Christmas-ages 5-6-7 and they loved it. The 5 year old loves play acting so she wrote her first book the night I gave it to her-it was a really neat story too! She is on her 3rd "My Story Book" now. My Grandson is writing his "life story"-he's 6. Can't wait to hear what he thinks about life. Some day what treasures those stories will be. I highly recommend this-I have re-ordered again today.
