by Aubrey Lande, Bob Wiz, OTR Lois Hickman MS, OTR Aubrey Lande MS

    Editorial Review
Songames for Sensory Integration highlights the power of music and play in promoting sensory integration. Musical songames are 'tools' that promote everything from self-regulation to praxis. The music is fun and motivating, helping kids (and their parents and teachers) play in purposeful, developmentally meaningful ways.

    Time to Sing

    From the Artist

During my twenty-plus years as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, I have used music as a therapy "tool" to facilitate speech and language expansion. My frustration has always been that previously recorded songs for children are sung at a rate of speed that is often to fast for our many young children who are still learning to speak. Therefore, the speed of the words on this recording is intended to enable all children to sing along, regardless of their level of speech development. We hope that you find "Time To Sing!" to be enjoyable, entertaining, and excitingly useful. --David Hammer, Speech-Language Pathologist for "Time To Sing!"

    Wee Sing in Sillyville
    Wee Sing in Sillyville

    From Amazon

Two kids find themselves magically transported to the wonderful land of Sillyville, where they meet a pixie-ish character named Sillywhim. She asks their help in bringing together the various groups of this imaginative world. (Each group wears a different color and has a bias against any color that's different.) The kids' encounters with the Sillyvillians result in almost nonstop nonsense songs that will delight young viewers: there's everything from 'I'm a Nut' to 'John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt.' The message--that because someone looks different it doesn't mean he or she is bad--is a positive one. And the musical shenanigans will hold the attention of the 1- to 5-year-old audience for repeated viewings. --Marshall Fine
