St. Louis Parent Extension for Apraxic Kids (SPEAK)
SPEAK (St. Louis Parent Extension for Apraxic Kids) was founded in October 2002. SPEAK helps families in the St. Louis area who have children with speech, language and communication difficulties. Our mission is to educate, equip and support families to help their child reach his or her potential.
Participating
in SPEAK is a good opportunity for professionals to work with
parents on a grass roots effort to further awareness about the
needs of children with communication disorders.

Speechville Express is a resource for families, educators, and medical professionals, offering information about language development in children, helping those who care for toddlers and young children who are late talkers, and connecting you with others who have been down this road. Language disorders and communication impairments included are apraxia, stuttering, pervasive developmental disorder, dysarthria, and aphasia, among others.
